We had a lovely drive in the countryside today and I shot these pix. Admit it, even Indiana is pretty in the fall! (And we're still 2 weeks out from our color peak, so more to come!)

My online journal, where I hope to capture my thoughts and feelings since they seem determined to chase the wind instead of staying put in my head. A place where friends are encouraged to participate, but as the mom in Sense and Sensibility puts it, "if you can't say something nice, kindly restrict your comments to the weather." "In Christ alone, my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song. This cornerstone, this solid ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm."

I love it, Wormie! Great pix! Where did you go to get these?
We drove out to Anderson Orchard but somehow got lost (I haven't been there in years!). We wanted to go to Gray's for some take-out dinner. We were driving along and the lighting was just perfect (around 5-ish), and when I saw that old red gate, I practically screamed to Adam to stop the car! They sure did turn out pretty, didn't they? I'm an amateur photographer at best, but once in a while I can get shots that I just love.
I think Indiana is beautiful in the fall! :-) Great pics!
